Every figure on the account screen answers a specific question. Here is which question each one is answering, and which two are easy to confuse.

The account screen is dense by design: it would rather show you the number than make you compute it. That only helps if each figure is read as the answer to the question it is actually answering.
Balance is what the account holds with no position open. Equity is what it holds right now, open positions included. Rules that are measured on equity are therefore live while you are in a trade, and a limit can be touched by a position that you fully intend to manage back to profit. The account does not wait to find out whether you were right.
The objectives panel shows how much of each requirement has been met. Reaching a profit target is necessary, not sufficient: the minimum trading days, where a model has them, still have to be satisfied, and a breach after the target is reached is still a breach. The panel marks each objective separately for exactly this reason.
If a figure on the screen and a figure on the rules page ever disagree, that is a bug and we want to hear about it. Everything else on the account is downstream of those two agreeing.
